Whole30 (again)

I’m back on the Whole30 wagon.  For those of you who don’t know – it’s basically a detox.  No sugar, grains, alcohol, beans/peanuts, or dairy.  Yes, I can eat meat and vegetables. And eggs. I’ve found some awesome resources online by way of the source’s website and some really cool blogs with recipes and all kinds of good stuff.

Today is day 2 of round 2 (ok 3).  I fell off the wagon after a week in early April…  It’s not as easy as one may think. Round 1 was freeing, and I was scared to reintroduce things. For good reason! Some of my favorite things from pre-W30 wreak havoc on my system now. PB+J, cereal, sigh!!!

The process of W30 has really awakened me to my relationship with food… and my relationship with myself!  I have a pattern of self-sabotage.

This pattern shows up in other relationships too – not just food. My family life, my career, my wardrobe.  I’m afraid to be seen.  That’s why I don’t publicize my blog.  I look at this as my “practice” area.

It’s all going to change though. And SOON.  I have a huge opportunity to accept and nurture my self, and share my gifts with the world.  Who knows where that will lead me, but I know it’s going to be awesome!!

I’m saving up for a July trip to Los Angeles. Claim Your Power LIVE will be a four day intensive at the end of the CYP course I got the scholarship for.  I’m scared to death, but that fear means I’m going in the right direction.

With the help of mentors like Mastin Kipp, Marie Forleo, Kate Northrup, and Teal Swan (google any of them – you’re in for a treat!), I will reach my true potential!  Oh – and the Minimalists… They’ve got some really good stuff too that I’m incorporating.  “How to write better” is a great tool, as is “The Copy Cure” from Marie Forleo.  I’m going to keep moving forward with these goals!
